I WENT TO A DYNO DAY AND FOUND OUT THAT THEY WHERE DOING IT IN 3RD GEAR WHY IS THIS AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD OF BEEN 4TH GEAR (CLOSER TO 1:1 RATIO) TO CANCLE DIFFERENT 3RD GEAR RATIOS.

should have done it in all gears .
What did they charge you????

Even in top gear you would get different ratio's through the diff, and different wheel speed based on the diameter of the tyres. I think it would be an interesting question to ask the dyno operators. What gear would they use on a three speed automatic? |

so is it ment to be done in 4th gear to get top read out

The last car I had done on "shootout" mode was done in third gear for a 4 speed vehicle! |
