Hi all. Just a quick question. I have 2 original HZ sand mans, both of which are still in their original paint. (Far as I can tell) One is turquoise mettalic and the other is mistral grey. The other day I took the cowling grill off the grey one and noticed the inside of it is all painted in blackout black. On the torquise van it isnt. Just wondering what the go is there? How did they come from the factory?

Are they both from the same plant (I can't remember)? There are subtle variations across plants at various stages wrt paint in obscure areas. The Carribean Turquoise van was extremely original body wise, so I'd be trusting it if all else fails. |

Hi Byron. Ill have a look at the numbers tonight. I havent thought about it for a while, so cant remember which plant it came from. Got a feeling the turquise van is sydney and the grey van is melbourne. Its the same colour as the upper window blackouts,
