Hi Guys,

My brothers '66 Mustang wont start / or even crank. Feels electrical to me.

Symptoms:
Car would not crank.
Charged Battery, No Change
Replace Batter, No Change
Jump Started from other running car = No change!

Starter Solenoid is not clicking, if anything, the immobiliser unit and the alternator regulator is clicking.

When the ignition is turned to ON, the top relay in the Alternator Regulator (box to left of radiator) tries to close, but it creates a buzzing sound as if it's 'bouncing' with not enough voltage? to close the relay?

But a jump start didnt help.

It also appears that lights and all accessories wont turn on, yet immobiliser light is on. and appears to enable and sisable properly.

It has a VDO 2000 T immobiliser since he got it.
Imobilise seems to deactivate as normal, when the key is turned, a relay is heard to be clicking in the immobiliser unit?

I have no idea. Any other suggestions?

By the way, the car was running fine two days ago.

My brother replaced the rocker covers with chrome ones, and now the car wont start.....

Thanks: 1 times
Have you re-checked all the wires including the earth cable off the battery?
