Hi all,Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with any of the universal type wiring looms that are on the market.Is any one brand better than the other.are they easy to fit.I have gutted all the old wiring out of my fj and fitted the complete steering out of a vs commodore.electric windows,electric boot,remote locks etc and am hoping that the loom will be fairly simple to install given that they come with instructions and each wire is marked every 100mm.

Aussie Auto Looms are excellent and a fair bit cheaper than Painless Wiring. The loom includes wiring to run all the accessories like electric windows, central locking and a/c. The instructions are easy to follow and it comes with a checklist where you ca

Latest issue of Australian Street Rod has a good article on an Aussie-made loom for around $650-700 that is tailor made to your specs, regardless of what column, instruments, power options etc you want to run, making for a much neater and easier to instal
