Just bought a brand new 650 mech double pumper ,4 even holes .

I was running a 650 speadbore vacumn secondary but i was finding it difficult to start and it was running very ritch but was good power .

I then put a brand new 600 vacumn on & also put M S D electronic ignition Billit distributer leads coil MSD 6 AL etc .

This made alot of difference .It made starting peice of cake .1 pump turn the key instead of 20 pumps with the flogged out old 650 speadbore vacumn and old points set up .

Believe it or not I now have another problem .Not enof fuel.I've lost winding out power ,as soon as i put my foot into it it breaks up .Ive tryed jetting up the 600 as it had 62 jets in it tryed 70 then 66 little bit better .Still not as good as my original 650 flogged out speadbore vacumn when running .

Spoke to some experts in dyno & racing holdens . they told me that 600 holley is crap ,many people with worked 308 have had problems with them

They said that putting a 650 mech double pumper same big holes front & back will solve all my problems
They said the 650 mech its the same as putting a 750 rotchester
on.

I'm hoping this will fix ,find out monday & will let you all know .

Would be happy to hear any ones opinion.

It depends on your engine & gearbox combo. If you have a std engine and auto with a std convertor it mightn't like a double pumper. A 4 speed with low diff gears or with a looser convertor if it's an auto will be OK.
It's about right what you've been to

Sandman, Interested in your offer - how much? Yeh, you're right, it just needs a kit put through it probably.
