EF/EL, AU-BF fans are all good (some are better than others) VT-VZ twin thermo fans are also very good too.
I had good success with a V6 thermo fan from a VS (big single) on a 308 HZ on gas & putting out decent HP.
Also put a VS V6 fan into a 62 ch |

I use Camira fans on mine. Must be the only good thing on a camira. They pull heaps of air, have good shrouds and 2 fit neat across a HQ radiator. And they're cheap. They draw about 22 amps. I've never had an overheating problem since I fitted them. and

I have EL fans fitted to my HZ 3 core radiator, it's a pretty simple fit with a few trims to the shroud and it slips in between the chassis rais niclely with a couple of brackets for the top mount and youre're off. They work really well. Don't get AU fans

was looking in the jaycar catalogue yesterday and saw a voltage operated switch module desined for auto use. considered that might be one option. a line could be taken off the temp sender and a voltage reading used as a triger for the thermo fan. the on

The Jaycar unit requires you to mount the resistor to either the brass temp fitting on the block or onto the radiator. It will still pick up correct temp due to thermal saturation of the coolant and the radiator itself being equil. I chose to pick up off

sorry phantom, I think you missed my point. I was talking about using the voltage switch kit instead of the temp switch kit and using the stock temp sender (still connected to the guage) as the sensing element instead of the thermistor as the other unit

Hi If you guys are running injection, why not control your thermos by the engine temperature circuit of your ECU.
Cheers

I guess I'm not as high-tech as all that. I run my thermo fan off the a relay triggered by the air-con compressor wire. But I have an isolator switch (ON-OFF-ON) that allows me to turn it off, or turn it on, manually without the air-con.
I watch my t
