hey fellas
i just bought a 350 chev and toplaoder that has just been rebuilt it has a stage 5 comp came, crane roller rockers , elbrock rmp daul plane manifold that i will replace with probable a victor jrn, 750 holley, smog head which are low compreesion with 2.02 inlet valve and 1.60 exhaust the heads apprently have been ported but not polished. it came with msn ignition, dizzy, four core raditator and flex fan,balancer toplaoder, bellhouseing, hurst shift but it has alot of slop, tailshaft ect and the motor is 4 bolt mains and the block is an 010 block wot is so special about this block is there any thing special about this block
any info would be helpfull

Hey Zac,
Sounds like a good engine. Big valve heads, and 4 bolt mains is a bonus. Not sure about your cam specs for an every day driver, but your on the money as far as pollution heads go, you'll be able to run unleaded I would say, and the roller rocker

What are you planning for this engine. hot street cruzer, street/strip??
Do u know what comp ratio it is. If it's not high then you probably won't want too big of a cam. Speaking of which, I've never heard of a stage 5 comp cam. At least not one

hey guys sorry i could reply earlier but the computer farked up!

OK now the cam is a comp cam and these are the stats gross valve lift 501 for intake and exhaust.
tappet lift is 292 for intake and exhaust.
the heads are smog heads vith big valves bu
