I went, with a purpose - I helped with judging for the HDT owners club of NSW (we had our own show & shine event within the AHD).

Saw Dr Terry there (thanks for the help mate), but that's about the only other forum member I know personally who went.

i went for a walk around,caught up with some people and then went after to somewhere else in sydney and bought myself an hq 350 coupe....happy boy i am..
going to church makes you no more a christian than standing in a garage makes you a car...

I was there also. i had my white HZ Van parked in the corner near the entance gate. My Van isnt nothing special but i still got a trophey. its the first thing it ever won.i was very happy..

Just remember - first Sunday in August has traditionally been the AHD, so mark it on your calender for next year!

That's how I always remember it (and because it's always on the weekend around my birthday!).

I also went along with my fc v8 wagon, had a great day. There was heaps of very nice old holdens to check out. Can't wait to next years.

I habve marked in my calendar with alerts 1 & 2 weeks in advance so hope I will get there next year
