imho if you're going to do it, do it right. I bought an after market fuse box that holds 8 fuses (you can get different sizes) and mounted it behind the dash for the fuel pumps and ecu etc. I have seen people use the factory fuel panel and I may convert

I soldered a terminal to the wire, and found a terminal on the fuse box under the dash. The terminal MUST be one that stays alive when cranking but goes out when the ignition is off or in accessory, if it goes off when cranking it is cutting the power to

Hi Guys.

Both the VK & XE systems are called Bosch LE-Jetronic & use a 'tachometric' relay to control power to the pump, injectors & ECU.

It simply picks up the ignition coil pulse (tacho signal) to hold the relay on, it is also held on by the start
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

from memory the tacho pickup from the control relay is one of two brown wires, the fuel pump power being a thick purple one. There is another brown that goes to earth from memory but I don't remember which pin number it is.. I don't really understand you

I am also a bit confused about your confusion void...there is a power wire that goes on when you turn the ignition on this runs the fuel pump etc. The fuel pump relay only sends power when the engine is turning over and the coil is pulsing power to the sp

Hi Mr Void.

You really need to get a factory circuit diagram & plan this properly.

The crank wire from the ignition switch (via the neutral start switch) is purple, NOT PINK. Pink is the ignition +ve supply. Also you can't just hook that wire to th

Don't sweat it.
I did mine over 2 years ago so there are holes in my memory for sure.
Pretty sure the wire to the pump is purple.
The VK had the wiring in modules so that a section at a time would be replaced. The colours are repeated in each section
