Hi guys - having a few troubles with the ute, and am trying to decide if it's worth putting any more $ into it.
My tank is out of date, so needs to be inspected. How much does that usually cost?
Also, the inspector said that the line from the tank to the regulator has a small kink/ding in it (he assured me it's not leaking, but will need to be replaced). What do these LPG installers usually charge?

Tank tests usually cost upto $250 but can vary wildly I've noticed. With the current demand for LPG I can see tank test costs rising as they (installers) are flat out doing complete system installations with these rebates in place and probably don't want |

Round here they were $200, but a mate told me on Sunday he was quoted $350 last week because of the current workload!

The costs depends on the brand of the tank. I got mine checked and restamped last Friday for $240. My tank is A.P.A. brand, made in Aust. They are the cheapest tanks. If it was a different brand, it could have cost up to $500. I took my car to a gas

What's involved in flinging the gas system? Can I just run the gas tank down to near empty, turn the valve at the tank off an drop it out?

If your going to get it checked you will have to run it out than turn the valve off at the tank. It would be cheaper to take it out yourself than get it tested that way labour charges are less. About five years ago i had to get a conversion certifed on my

Clutch Car Go,
If by the 'test period' you mean how often does it need to be certified, the answer is every 10 years. Only the tank needs to be tested. Make sure you run it out of gas first. When the test is complete, you should get a receipt with a
