Hi, wondering if someone can help me.... i have just bought a 67 falcon coupe from the United States. basically an XR/XT/XW body from a running perspective. Couple of questions
1. can an XA fairmont Disc Brake front end be bolted straight into this and fit proprely?
2. Ive bought a set of XW buckets for the coupe as it currently has a bench. can the base/seat of an XA fairmont bucket be married up with the backrest of an XW bucket? ... one of the buckts I bought has a pretty rusty base frame
any help appreciated

OK if it were an Australian XT-XY yes you can just bolt the stub axle & upper arm into your Falcon from anything up to XG. The American Falcon may have more flimsy suspension though but it may all fit as an assembly.

On a side note you are better off

Yes you replace the upper suspension arms & bushes as an assembly out of an XC onwards Falcon. You have to reshape the shock towers a little (with a hammer) around the grease nipple access holes because the newer bushes take up slightly more room.
