has any one had the same problem as me

the engine stalls and had a huge flat spot and dose not change gear until it hits 4000 rpm please help !!!!!!!!!!!

might have a problem with engine emobiliser i had that same thing in my vq

My mates stock VS auto is doing that atm. Whilst driving at a steady rate, he gets to about 2000rpm then flat spot til about 4000 and then changes gears.

The problem is the clutch packs (is that the right thing?) in the gearbox, from doing too many bur

WANTED: GTS rims, seats and mirrors to suit HJ.

Sounds like vacuum hose come off the modulator?

Hi Guys.

VR & later autos don't have vacuum modulators, they're fully electronic.

The fix maybe a simple one, go to a workshop that has a scanner & is familiar with these boxes.

My mum's VS Berlina was doing that last year. You used to have to redline the bloody thing just to get it to change out of 1st gear.
The mechanics reckoned there was some design flaw with these gearboxes, something to do with oil passages being too restr
