Cloudy said "The news of Brocky left me feeling numb and shocked. It still doesn`t feel real...." Gotta agree with him 100%. Gotta also agree with ALL the other sentiments expressed above. My wife is a good woman. She heard the tragic news on radio and rang me at work, as she thought it better that I heard it from her.
Memories of watching on a grainy black and white TV, film that was already a couple of days old by the time it reached

As an Ex-Pat Kiwi, all I can say, he was loved as much in N.Z as he was here in Australia. A true legend and a gentleman. He had me on the edge of the seat on many occassions watching him win Bathurst for his nine wins, and I can only say I'm truely sad.

What an absolutely tragic week for us Aussies. Losing two icons in the one week. A great ambassador for Australia around the world in Steve Irwin, and now a motorsport legend in Peter Brock. Its all too hard to believe. On the radio yesterday here in Mel |

Hi Everyone
I just wanted to share this with you all. I was at Bathurst in 1979 and watching Brockie that day is still in my view the most complete sporting performance I have ever seen by anyone in any field.
He started the day on pole position led

I've been gradually collecting all of the four Bathurst winning Monaros in 1/18th scale. I had three of them: 1968 McPhee/Mulholland, 1969 Bond/Roberts and the yellow 2002 427. But I didn't have the 2003 05. Looking yesterday all Brock stuff has gone ball |

Well I am truly still dumbfounded by it all. He seemed so unstoppable, human, and top bloke. So nice to see all his mates from all camps coming together too, like Moffat and Harvs.
RIP Peter ! ...forever in our hearts and minds.

To an Awesome Inspiration... R.I.P BROCKY. I have to also agree with, the absolute legendary status gained, by the 79 Bathurst WIN by 6 laps while setting the lap record on none other than the last lap... Truly One of the most Inspirational Moments in m

I tend to lean toward the blue corner but always liked to see Brocky win at Bathurst.
In fact I always hoped that he'd come out of retirement one day & win the Bathurst 1000 a tenth time.
There were tears whilst watching the news on Friday night |

Hi Guys.
I think I've always sat in the Red corner myself, I've followed Brocky since 1968 in the Austin A30.. The news on Friday about Brocky was devastating, I'm still in a state of disbelief & it's Monday afternoon already, it's like loosing a famil |

As Terry said, it is still VERY hard to believe that he has gone. As promised the other day, I have visited the site of his final crash and have put all the photos here: http://gallery.oldholden.com/Croozin/PC8/Brock/Below are a couple of the shots Edited by user Wednesday, 13 September 2006 11:00:04 AM(UTC)

When you view an individual photo, up and to the right above it are some size options so you can view larger versions.
