Hey Guys,

My wiper motor stopped mid-stride today... just wondering if anyone know what the pin-outs are, and any good way to test the unit?

I've disconnected the wiper arms, to rule-out any mechanical fault, (motor can spin freely if it turns on) and checked the wiring. Looks ok, nothing loose.

I checked the voltages quickly, only the yellow had 12volts going to it, any idea what should be on the other pins (i've misplaced my wiring diagram)

Dont want to replace the unit to find it was the wiring.....

Thanks guys.

Its a 1976 HX Ute.

Opened up the wiper motor.

One of the pieces of the commutator had come off, taking all 3 brushes with it as it spun around....

New Wiper motor on the way.
