Gday all
Always had a car with points plugs points and dizzy
not to sure where to look first im having probs with my motor running a bit rough under load,,while just cruising its fine,,,, only happens sometimes ,,some days its fine,,, and other days i go to put the foot down and flutters abit put new plugs and leads but hasnt helped,,,, had someone say it might be the crank sensor does anyone have an idea where to look first???????????

Have you checked to see if any trouble codes are logged. Search web for diagnostic trouble codes for your vechile, should tell you what pins to bridge on diagnostic connector which is located under steering column. Hope this helps.

Hi Guys.

Red, I think you'll find the diagnostic connector (ALDL) in a VQ Statesman over near the LH side cowl trim, hanging next to the ECU itself. This is the location of the ALDL in all VN/VQ/VG/VP series cars.

It wasn't until the VR series that
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0
