just wonting to no what kind of power ( hp and kw's) is in a vr ss commodore motor does it still put out the same power as the standard 5L 165kw motor.

All the standard holden VR 5L motors were 165kw.
The HSV upgrade was 185kw, and consisted of memcal, knock sensor, extractors & exhaust, and cold-air induction.

so what other mods where done to get the vr gts-r to 215kw ?is it true that only 85 was ever built

was it just getting the new stroked out engine and was it a 355ci at all ?? cause the3.48 inch crank in virgin block lacks 30 thou' overboreto get the extra 5 extra cubic inches

i just got a mate that claims it has got 230kw and i no that you could get over mods with the ten hrt's built

They were 350 cubic inches ie 5.7L not 355 cubes. |
