Hi, I have a HK Premier 587 - 1704 and 1150 - 18S which I understand is Silver Mink and Buckskin Beige with Sadlon inserts but I swear the exterior of this car and inner unretouched areas looks like a light olive green metallic more than silver... and I thought the buckskin would be a whitey colour but it has a greenish colour as well! The tags look like original, so does this sound right? Did some silver minks look more greenish than others? Because all the Silver Mink Monaros I have seen pics of look really silver.

I had a silver LC Torana once and when I took the door trims off, it was green undernearth. I wondered this to, perhaps its just primer or undercoat?

Dunno, it's weird. Rego papers say silver but definitely has a greenish tinge to it. I just found this car which basically appears the same colour as mine. I would never have guessed this is silver mink?! http://oldholden.com/ohfiles/images/2006_0820Im

If you were asked to desribe the colour of the car in that photo in one word, you would say silver, not green. No big deal, just a name. |

maybe you would Peter, but when I bought mine and was asked the colour I said greeny-silver. First word was green. And it still looks green to me, as does the interior. I'm not trying to make a big deal of it, I just thought mink was silver silver, and I
