...I can't get the headrests off my VR to put seat covers on. I spent 20 minutes trying everything I could think of, I tried feeling around the base of the stalks for little release buttons or something, but all to no avail. I realise when someone gives me the answer it will be simple and I'll feel stupid but, if anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Russ.

No Russ, it ain't a dumb question at all.

Basically, thanks to cheaper/simplified production, the retainers for the headrests are under the trim, and you cannot access them without removing the seat trim.

Your best bet is to cut a small slit in the
