I have put 308turbo350 into six cyld wb onetonner.The crossmember does not line up.Pls help

Hi oneton.

You need an HZ or WB TH350 crossmember. TH350 crosmembers out of utes/vans & one-tonners are rare, so it's easier to get a sedan/wagon/Statesman one & shorten it.

The chassis is a different design. The passenger cars chassis consists of 2 'C' channels, so the crossmember sits on the inside of them. The commercials are a full box chassis & the crossmember mounts off 2 lugs which are welded to the insid

you need to cut each side to decrease the width and then drill holes in the ends of the crossmember at chassis and use a nut and bolt to secure it....

Go looking at WB Statesmans from 1980 to somewhere mid model (late 1982 roughly). These all had TH350 boxes. Late HZ 308 autos as well. Just do what Greg says. If you have an arc welder tack the nuts onto the ends of the crossmember - makes it easier to g
