AFAIK the 9937263 is for the HX/HZ 173 head, the 9937262 is the 202 head. I could be wrong, I'll check it.

Hi Guys.
Well, I was wrong, partially anyway.
The 9937263 casting is an ADR27A 173 head, but HX/HZ didn't offer the 173 (2850) as an option in Australia. These heads were seen on LX/UC Toranas & VB Commodores. The May '78 date code would mean it cam |

Terry, if IIRC the '262 would also have been used on the low comp 173 in a UC? |

Yes, that would be correct, but how rare would a UC Torana with a lo-comp 173, be ? Has anybody ever seen one ?

I've only ever seen XQL, HL, XQD and HD prefixed examples. Having said that I take little interest in UC's anymore and normally ignore them in wrecking yards since I no longer own an LX (they used to be a good source of front ends, glass, V8 aircon parts, |
