hi all, wondering if any 1 could help me shed some light on this. i was on the site johngossspecial.com and this is what it says on there.
"Towards the end of the XB's life Ford started using XC shells. The most noticable difference between the XB and XC shells is that the XC shells have horizontal side repeater lights behind the rear wheels while the lights on the XBs are vertical. We have yet to identify a change over date when the XC shells were introduced, but it appears that it was approximately 10/75."
After reading this i browsed through various xb coupe pictures and i did notice that the late 75 and 76 xb's do have the horizontal rear indicator like the xc coupes.
Does any 1 know if the late 75 and 76 xb coupes were actually made from xc coupe shells???

this is one that pops up from time to time and usually ends up no clearer than when it started. Another thing with the horizontal rear side blinkers on the coupes. There is an air vent in the XA and early XB coupes in the door well area below the door s

Later XB Coupes also have XC wiper assemblies using a nut to hold
the wiper arms on instead of the push-on and clip arrangement.
Also have XC style glove box with rotating knob instead of push button.
Also on the T-Bar auto . they have the bl

The horizontal rear side lights came about mid way through the XB run. The XC dash in the XB I've only ever seen on the very last GT coupes. Number of coupes with this done I've heard between 3 and 7. The GTs were special orders after the XC run had st
