Hi, I was wondering if the bore size of a motor affects it's actual capacity. For example what would the capacity be of a 308 with 030 block or one with a 060 block be? Thanks

Work it out:

Cubic capacity = pi x bore/2 x bore/2 x stroke x 8 (all in inches).

308's have a 4" bore and 3.062" stroke. For a bigger bore like 30 thou use 4.030".

An easier formula is, Bore dia X Bore dia X .7854 X stroke length X number of cylinders
