The Holden salisbury was standard fitment to HQ 350's and VH/VK Group III's. they are not weak, BUT compared to a 9", Chev 12-bolt, Dana 60 or BW78 they are weaker. They are not fragile, but they can be broken readily particularly the LSD variety. But, i |

I've got both 10 Bolt and 12 Bolt in my two cars, never had a problem with either. Both are Canadian manufactured as per the I.D Tags. Never did come out with Lockers, only Limited Slip. I think the hype with 9" Ford units is grossly over the top, the 10

I guess to answer your question on the twin throttle bodies, Trickshift Automotive modify a standard VN type manifold for twin thorttle bodies. Haven't seen one in the flesh, but they look very good in the photos.

I have had a banjo diff last 17 mins in a LJ torrie(thats the time it took to put it in, blow it up and remove it. But I have also had a banjo last 6 years and still going in a HR. It depends how you drive it.If you dump the clutch at 5500 rpm, your walk

My mate's HK 307 (out to 350) used to pull about 400hp. It used to eat Saginaws and 10-bolts. He got sick of it and stuck a Muncie and 9" in it. Kept breaking 9" diffs, so he put a mini spool in and all was well for 10 years. Got scared he might break a v |

Hi justgm.
L34 Toranas had banjo diffs, that was their weak point. The A9X had a large Salisbury & rear disc brakes standard, these were the main reason the release of the A9X.

SLR5000,s had the fine spline banjo diff, when L34 came out it had big salibury diff and HQ/HJ vented disc,s on the front, this is how they were able to run 14" rostyles. |

Garbage. The LH SLR5000 L34 had the same diff as a normal SLR5000, except the axles had HQ stud pattern and used HQ rear drums. Front discs and calipers were HQ except the calipers had the lower brake hose entry points plugged and had holes drilled in the Edited by user Monday, 30 October 2006 12:19:20 AM(UTC)

L34s had a Banjo LSD centre (A9x had large LSD Salisbury), 1 tonner axles and HQ drums (A9X had HJ/X/Z discs) on the back. The front had HQ vented discs (same as A9X), a revised suspension geometry (A9X had RTS version 1) and stronger springs all round. |
You only have to be in front at the end of the race. |

Hi Guys.
The L34 rear axles were not 1 Tonner axles, they still only have 23 splines, same as other non-A9X V8 Toranas & UC/HX/HZ/WB/VB/VC/VH/VK 6 cyls.
1 Tonner axles are too long to fit in a Torana housing & they also have 28 splines to suit the l |
