Hi All
Has anyone got any ideas sujestions on a engine transplant 302 windsor into 1970 capri (mock parania)
The Best thing to come out of England !

Yes I was going to do this swap myself but changed my mind & decided to go the EFI V6 route instead (similar power better fuel economy).

Firstly you should address the brakes because they are more important than the engine. you can always push a car

I forgot to mention that you also need to get an Econoline or late mustang sump which is deep at the back then shallows out in the middle & then gets deeper again at the front (to clear the oil pump). This type has two sump plugs one up front & one up the

I'm also trying to complete a 302 capri. I have all my drive train ready to go, but
the engine mounts i got from Castlemain Rod have confused me alittle. Do you know if i have to by the complete chassi kit off them at some higher cost, or can i mo

I did find Bob pinnell's (SP?) phone number once. He lives up near the gold coast these days.

CRS will sell you the engine mount kit on it's own but likes to sell the whole chassis kit. I don't think that the CRS engine mount kit has the transmission m

I am going the way of the V6 Commodore engine due to spares availability.

There is a 3.8 Ford mustang V6 engine & they have come up on eBay a few times in the last 6 months. I would go with one of those if they were more common here.

Bob are you the man himself?

I have decided that I am going to continue with the V8 302 route and not the Commode V6 engine.

Later on down the track I will look at fitting an EB 5.0 EFI engine.
