I took window tint of a Monaro I had years ago when I rebuilt the car and it was an absolute pain the backside. It was also inevitable that I ended up with a couple of small scratc

My advice would be to take the car (or the window) to a car tinting company and let them do it.

Shaun, we recently had Chris' Statesman rear window stripped & redone, and it didn't cost much at all. I'll find out what place it was & how much, and let you know.

OK I finally got around to having a go at removing the tint . I got hold of one of those $20 steam cleaners , I think Godfreys were giving them away with vacuums at one stage . Back window took 20 minutes to remove , then used acetone to remove the glue . |
