hi there wondered if anyone could help me , recently my charge light came on so i replaced the alternator with a new one the light is still on when reved it flics of very quickly and comes back on , it has a split charge system on it and ive disconected the second battery as the main decided to disharge any help would be appreciated regards

Get a multimeter and see how many volts it is charging at the battery it should be around 13.5 to 14.5 volts at 1000rpm
