Hi goingcrazy.

If your UC Sunbird has a Starfire 4, then a Holden 6 will bolt straight in to the original mounts. If it has an Opel motor, the front cross-member needs to be changed to fit the 6. Anything else is a lot more work.

And if it has the starfire 4 - DON'T turbocharge it, or rev it, or even look at it wrong (in my experience).

The most entertaining problem I tried to diagnose on my old one was when I fitted the distributor cap 180 degrees out. Entirely possible and d

Hi goingcrazy.

The Starfire 4 is just a Holden 6 with 2 cylinders missing, so the carby is on the passenger's side & the dissy is on the driver's side & the rocker cover is the same style as a Holden 6, but shorter.

An Opel 1900 is a larger, heavier
