Hi all, My friend has a HQ coupe that he is reluctantly preparing to sell. He is the second owner (he bought it in 1982). It was originally a 253,trimatic LS monaro with the vinyl roof although it does have a factory sliding sunroof. He has modified it over the years and it now runs a 308 and turbo 400. The interior is average and the exterior is rough. The car had a cheap respray about 7 years ago and it really needs re-doing properly. The rust in the lower rear quarters was cut out and replaced with steel in the eighties and hasn't returned so I guess we can assume it was done well, there is a small amount of rust elsewhere but it is very minimal and not structural. My friend reckons he can get $10K for it in this condition...is he in the ballpark or pricing himself out of the market?

I know a fellow just sold a rolling shell, no chrome, no interior with stuffed driver's door and hole in the roof for sunroof for $6k so $10k would be fine.
