Need some help with some numbers on a ht monaro

Stamped on body
ht07799m ( couldn’t read the last two digits properly)

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I need to make a decision to buy the car on Tuesday.

Simply a Dandenong built HT Monaro (as opposed to a Monaro GTS).
Originally painted Tunisian Turquoise (1188) with black vinyl trim (10X).
Plates appear to match the chassis number.

It would have originally been one of the following engine/gearboxes:

Byron, you have listed the HK driveline combinations for this HT.

should be:
161 with 3spd all synchro or Opel 4spd
186 with 3spd all synchro, Opel 4spd, Saginaw 4spd or Powerglide auto.
186S with gearboxes as per 186

I even typed HT in the reply, and still was thinking HK!

I'll revise my "guess" to a 186 with 3spd or powerglide. But could be any of those that Warren typed. You can pick the floor shift options easily, and
