I have a VR auto and want to fit a transmission cooler to it, I plan to tow a caravan and have been told that it is a good idea, can anyone give me an idea on the best position for it, will fitting it in front of the radiator reduce it's performance or cause any problems?

Fitting a seperate cooler is a very wise move, and essential for towing with a 4L60E. I would advise any Auto Commodore owner to fit one, even if they never plan to tow.
