just rebuilt a 250 crossflow engine and i can turn the engine over with the rear main seal off but when i put it on i cant turn it anymore, witch brings me to my problem when putting the engine back in the car i need to aline the fly wheel up with the torque converter but i cant turn the engine over. so i am wondering if i can put the started motor in and quickly kick the engine over so i can do up all the bolts in the fly wheel

I would not install engine if you cannot rotate it with the rear main cap on.
