merry Xmas to all holden lovers.couldnt find anything in internet about this problem.i'll try my best to explain the issue.
my cruise control would not hold the speed,it meant to increase speed when the button pushed down and hold it there, but this one doing opposite..push the button nothing happening, release it its gaining speed.its accelerate faster and faster as for example if i press and release it on 100km highway speed,it suddenly go on 105,110....till i touch the breaks or push the button in and hold there.feels like you doing a kick down on 100km.it does that even when car idles in park.its like you reving the car very harshly.any idea?

Something majorly wrong as they do not work unless you are doing 40km/h, even the after market ones.

I take it that you have this in a WB with single button????

There is a form of adjustment on those old mechanical cruise transducers. If you can find a WB or VC commodore factory service manual it will have it in there.

Cheers,
