as i am a complete novice without a mechanical mind but a passion for big loud V8s can fellow members outline the order in which they rebuilt/did up their coupes/utes/sedans and which areas needed more attention than others.i have an xc coupe and xc ute

1. Pull it apart.
2. Fix everything up.
3. Put it back together again.

Seriously though, start by making a wish list of what you want to accomplish with the car.

Also if you can try and find a workshop manual for the car you are rebuilding as this will also help you with pulling the car apart and when you put it back together but make it has to be the workshop manual not a gregory manual

what is the difference between workshop and gregorys manuals and do the xc manuals cover all types (ute/coupe/sedan)

Munromad2004, sounds like you have it all covered in your reply, just wondering if you were modifying the vehicle would you change the steps around for say driveline upgrade?

If I were changing the driveline to a non standard set up where there was a fair bit of engineering to be done, I would actually "test build" the majority of the car while it was still in primer to allow me to complete any modifiications ie we
