If you are talking about the little spanner that comes up every 10,000 or so? if you are then i think you hold down both the trip computer buttons together and turn your key to ignition without starting it and then let them go. The VT owners manual had th

Sorry, not in the Owner's manual, it is in the Service Manual/book.
