Red 202s with a VL prefix are VB commodore only.

Interesting that it is not a 3300 but a 202. The 202 is a 3300 it just has 202 cast on the side until partway through HZ when it is changed to 3300. I always thought this happened before the Commodore release but must have happened after.

And to add to that, blue 202s had "3.3" cast in the side.

The reds I think were either cast 202 or 3.3, but the change happened during the HZ as I have seen a ZL 3.3 block.
Dr Terry might be able to assertain a more accurate changover as most of my research was on Monaros and they were All V8 by this time, so

Because of the prefix, you'll find the RTA will require you to meet the emissions standards of the motor, as it is newer than the car.
That means you need to comply with ADR 27a, which was first introduced in July 1976, meaning you'll need the pollutio |
