For me ebay has been bloody great,my missus has the screws turned pretty tight these days.The secret to ebay is to be patient,stick to your maximum bid and do your research so you dont pay to much.I do wait towards the end of an auction to bid because oth

I have to agree wiyh ya mate.I to have been doing up a project and seen things I thought I may never get the chance to obtain again, and paid heaps for it,not now ,I shop around for what I want ,most of the stuff is available through reputable

You can still set a reserve for everything you sell on ebay. its called a starting price. Granted your listing costs more if your listing price is higher but if you dont want to be dissapointed with the outcome you have the choice.

Another perfect example of a seller seeing items sell for good money and thinking that his junk must be worth top dollar.
No wonder its so freaking hard to get an air cleaner nowadays for a good price, people see this and hold onto them.

id have to say ebay is great aswell if there were a better alternative id use it but theres not. i posted up a couple of items for sale on here i sold 1 thing i put them up on ebay and got heaps more then what i wanted and more then what i advirtised them

I haven't been shafted by Ebay, frustrated yes but never shafted.

Yes I am a seller So what. Most of the stuff I sell I get a fair price and I don't have people bid the price up, granted there are some on there that do that but they don't last long,and as for you comment about thing most time being cheaper at swap meets

There are deals and rip offs on ebay just as there are deals and rip offs at swap meets. It's pretty easy if you are buying. Set you price you will go to and research what you are chasing before bidding on anything. Same thing at swapmeets though the q

What alot of you guys are forgetting is that not every one lives in a capital city.If you live in the country then you have very limited choices.Travelling 100s of kms is both time consuming and expensive and local swap meets are few and far.Trading post

This aircleaner is a fantasy item XM Ford, aint no such thing!!!!!

It's a standard aircleaner with an extra hole cut in it...they are so easy to make even I have one!

Craig you seriously have to build yourself a bridge and get over it cause this negativity towards ebay is getting you nowhere. But i guess we all need our hobbies and if yours is trying to cut down everyone who has a positive thing to say about ebay good

I don't cut down everyone that has positive things to say about Ebay. Ebay is an excellent source of parts for our hobby, BUT it is full of unscrupulous sellers and downright con artists and people who are new to Ebay can often get sucked in.
