Can anybody tell me as a rough guide how much it would cost to freight a holden 186 donk from outer eastern Melbourne up to NSW south coast (Nowra) and also the all up weight of a 186 Complete.

will be exxy...cant give you accurate weight but a complete red six with trimatic weighs 200kg according to our forklift scales...so my best guess is about 120 KG for the engine.

Thanks for that info mate, the donk is seperate from the gearbox though. Any idea's guys?? My mate mentioned that since it is a used engine that it might have to be classified as dangerous goods due to fuel vapours, this is sure to push price up..

I sent a red 308 short block to NSW and the cost was $145. I put it on a skid and tied it down and plastic( cling film) wraped the lot.
