Could anyone please decipher the following codes for me:

TRIM:
3031-65V
1989-67V

PAINT:
1C 104-D
1D 005-B

Is there any way to tell from the trim code if a GTS Dash was factory fitted (eg black steering column and handbrake)? Also what were the different types of 'brown' interiors available in the WB series. I'm aware of tan and buckskin - but I though buckskin had code 63V.

any help much appreciated!
thanks, Rhys

3031 / 1C104 is Bamboo (a pale yellowy beige, also seen on VK).
1989 / 1D005 is Cameo Yellow (pale yellow, also seen on VH).

I dunno the interior codes though, only the paint, as they are shared with Commodores of the era.

Mick

Hi Rhys.

The only interior trims available for WB Commercials are:-

23V = Light Blue
63V = Buckskin
65V = Light Oyster
66V = Oyster
67V = Tan

23V, 63V & 65V are Kingswood (Ute) only & the 2 Oyster colours (65V & 66V) were added in 9/83.

Thanks Mick and Dr Terry. Thats a great help.

Is the "Oyster" interior a combination of Tan and Buckskin? I've noticed in the later WBs that they use a combination of colours, but the dashboards are usually Tan.

cheers
Rhys
