My Xw indicators dont go. I turn them on and I get click click twice but no lights on the dash or out side are working. Could this be flasher unit wires earths bulbs... I guess so but how do I check whats wrong.. I pulled the steering wheel off and had a look at the part in there but I cant tell a thing its plasic with wires.

I dont no how to seperate the plasic thing in the upper column where the indicator arm goes to see the connections.. nor do I no if thats the prob

Advice appreciated..

I checked the flasher unit by puttin it into a mk3 cortina and it worked fine. I then put the mk3 cortina one into the falcon and no luck. The unit looks brand new. I only just got the car and they werent working when i brought it.
