Here's a tough question. Apart from a flame thrower, sand blasting, toxic waste, wet and dry, steelo soap pads etc.
What will get dried fish oil off duco ?

Two questions.* How thick is the old fish oil &* how old would it be .It might sound silly but I had the same problem with 12 month old Tectyl. It was a result of runs left over from a careless rustproofing job . I got a very new , sharp razor blade a

Cant tell. Its sort of baked on, and has run out of the doors. PLus under the bonnet there is the dark brown oily sh*t that nothing so far has shifted. I would guess 10-30yo.....John

maybe get your cat to lick it off?
Or ring the manufacturers and ask. I would have thought turps would do it. I would be wary to use anything tho without testing first on an out of the way place.
