can someone please tell me where to read oil pressure from on a 138? i can't find the sender anywhere? do u read it from the front of the oil pump? thanks

hi there,
there are 3 plugs on the dizzy side of the motor: most accurate is the one just forward of the Dizzy.
if there isnt anything bolted into into one of these holes you dont have the oil sender anywhere.
You can get them off ebay similar to

Hi Guys.
I was going to answer this one, but it wasn't made clear which 138 he meant.
I think joelm has answered assuming it was a 138 Grey (FB/EK/EJ), but when I looked at the poster's name 'camlj', he is probably asking about a 138 Red motor.

Hi all,
i wasnt aware of there being any 138 red?
didnt it go 132 uptill fb, then 138 grey till ej, eh came out with 149 then 161 reds before moving to the 186 red?

Hi joelm.
Yes, there was a 138 Red. It was used in LC & LJ Toranas, where it was badged the 2250. It was also used in LH for export.
Yes, the Grey was made in 132.5 ci (FX to FC) & 138 ci (FB to EJ), but the Red was made in the following 8 sizes:- 1 |
