Hi Everyone I have Had Few Probs with my vr lately I had to get a new radiator 2 weeks ago due to the other one cracking or splitting down the bottom drivers side corner. So I bought a new one I also had trouble with the car running hot lately so I bought upper lower hose new thermostat cap ets,installed the radiator everything has been going fine car stayed really cool Thermo Fans Kicked in when they were suppose to when Engine got hot. Today I went to a relatives house and when I got out of the car I saw coolant leaking all over the ground took a while to find where it was coming from and after looking for a while it got worse and it was pouring out of the side of the tanke drivers side at the beginning of the cores. Is this my car that is doing this or is it just a dodgy radiator I bought it was brand new. I have noticed where it looks like coolant has been leaking just under the water pump and been dripping over the harmonic balancer but it is barley anything of a leak and the area is just stained from the coolant but I cant see any kind of leak and havent needed to top up any of the coolant in the last 2 weeks since the radiator was installed

Sounds like a faulty radiator. Parts are mass produced these days you are more likely to have a failure

If there is coolant leaking on your harmonic balancer there is a good chance your seal and bearing are gone in your waterpump . Had the same problem with my sister inlaws series 1 VT last Tuesday . It was getting hot whilst driving but if you stopped and |

My VS had a radiator crack down the side , it started with a few drops i thought it was a hose leaking then 2 days later on start up it pissed out . I had to call a mobile radiator guy to replace it.
