I guess we all take a look at the the AMC website - link shown here http://www.australianmusclecarsales.com.au/Can someone please tell me how is it that the Monaro's dont show on this site that much, I know the HKTGs do. At a fair price I must add. Do we Holden owner hoard better than Ford owners ? But where have all these one off genuine owner priceless GT's come from ? Like the cars cannot all be 100% genuine. Have they all been under tarps this time ? Or are Ford's a lot easier to fake, maybe ? I reckon at $80-120K you would want a genuine 1 owner with the owner in the boot to prove it. Cheers John

I heard this afternoon of a Phase III selling for seven figures. I've Never understood why Phase III's are worth so much. They've got 4-doors, as John says the body shells can be sourced elsewhere, their only ever serious competition came from red motor p Edited by user Wednesday, 24 January 2007 5:58:19 AM(UTC)

I have said it before and will say it again, Falcon GT prices have not been greater than Monaro GTS 327/350 prices. The GT people have always taken into account the 6 cylinder GTS prices when they say GTs are worth more. Just go to the site, unrestored XT

Hi Fellas,
The GTHO Phase 3 sold recently for more than $400k. This was in the news. I guess you know there were four Phase 4 GTHO produced then, presumably, the Government blocked them (Anti-supercar movement). A Phase 4 recently sold for $750k. The

There were 3 GTs made to phase IV spec by Ford racing and only 1 factory phase IV, which is not for sale at any price, I beleive. One of the GTs died in motor racing, Bowden has one and the other I am not sure of its location.
The only real phase IV ha

The trouble with a Phase III or any other 4 door Falcon GT is that from a distance it still looks like any garden variety Falcon. A real Monaro (as opposed to a 4 door HQ Kingswood GTS) has two doors & will always look special even in 161 powered base mod Edited by user Tuesday, 30 January 2007 2:10:18 AM(UTC)

What I would like is DVDS of the old races from the XW XY MONAROS TORANAS etc. Complete would be great to watch the cars we love.. New cars are boring to me.. pre 1983 is best

ABC 2's great if you get it. They play a lot of the old races in their 'late night legends' time slot. Last night they were playing races from warwick farm, with chivas in his charger, brocky in his xu-1, norm beechy in his monaro and moffat or bond or wh

Racing at it's best! What a shame the supercar scare killed off Bathurst as it could have been. Imagine the V8 XU-1 winning Bathurst 1973, relegating the last remaining Phase IV in the race limping home in third......Or the Phase IV's dominating as some m |

GM-H would have probably been racing V8 GTR-Xs by then, now that would have been a weapon.
