Can anyone help me with maximum wheels/tyre sizes on my HK ute. I want to fit Weld draglites, but i am not sure what how wide i can go and what the best offset/backset would be without scrubbing etc? Any advice or who to talk to will be appreciated.

Hey stumpy, sorry it's taken a while but I've been away from the computer. Best my mates & I could get on standard rims were 215's. Anything higher would start rubbing on the rear left guard under heavy load / rebound. A tyre expert like bob jane etc shou

HKs have more offset to the inside than the HT/HG. Thats why they rub when you put them on EHs etc..

Hey Vintage - is that on a T or G?... do you know how much offset you've got on those rims? I wanted to get my steelies widened but I thought they'd rub too much.
