Not crying now. I was doing my sums today, it still works out cheaper than buying a really, really straight LX hatch body. Even if I buy a stuffed LX sedan as a donor car, as long as the front an back end are alright, I'm still miles in front, i'll just

A stuffed LH will also do as a panel donor car.

You will end up with as said a car that looks like an LX but handles way better and has a better handbrake, dash and &
wheel discs.

I had a UC with a LX front end grafted on. The whole thing was rust free and in primer with a heap of parts. I advertised it for $1500 for ages but only got the usual "Oh I"m after an LH/LX only"...so I ended up selling it to a

Hey Johnno, dont get wound up mate. All of this has happened in the last 3 months. I had an LX hatch and was dumb enough to sell it for stuff all as at the time they were not that sought after. If i had seen you car for sale I would have bought it. I

Hey Johnno, don't get wound up mate. All of this has happened in the last 3 months. I had an LX hatch and was dumb enough to sell it for stuff all as at the time they were not that sought after. If i had seen you car for sale I would have bought it. I

mate theres a near mint 1976 5ltr white ss hatch with 52,000 ks on it at a car yard in bluff rd black rock vic the joker wants $135,000 for it but im sure he will come down a bit

Geez $135000.00, at that price Ill take 4. There is one on ebay for $98000.00 a v8 mocked up to an SS, maybe should let him know so he can knock his up to match the 135. Have a look at the bidding on the lx hatch wreck on their as well.

that hatch is a uc hatch with a spoiler on it tried buying it for parts but never worked out who owned it only there late at night
has complete rust free dorrs on it and there straight worth a small fortune to buy from swap or ebay well worth investigati

There is this if you are after a good one to restore. I have looked at it and it looks better than the photo's suggest and as an added bonus it's wearing it's original paint so no nasties are hiding.
