I'm deciding to sell my xy falcon project due to new baby and the misses wants rid of her(the xy not the baby). Shes not in the best condition but might suit for donor parts or restoration. It was originally a 200ci with 3spd manual, at the moment theres a 250 in it has extractors, theres a 4spd gearbox that came out also needs reco the clutch and pressure plate are no good has shifter with it also. Shes pretty bad for rust, the bailey channel (where boot rubber goes) has rusted out on the side and been filled with fibreglass. Doors have rust only in the corners and are straight, sills may need replacing , front floors WILL need replacing rear floors perfect. Has original 12 slotter will need recroming if to use. Hi.
Not sure if i really want to sell her i do and dont(so hard to get another)
anyways i have looked over the car again needs full restoration.
the front left hand floor pan is shot and would require a replacement pan for it ,the sills are'nt the wors

1200? but it's all rusty and in pieces, i was thinking the sub 800 mark!. Would you consider going that low if you were separating the shell from the running gear? Then i'd be interested.

may not be the xy your looking for needs a bit of work but if you are good on a welder you could probably have her solid with a couple of weekends of hard work.
so you just want the rolling shell?
ie: on wheels interior??? dont

yeah just the body, with interior, rolling on its wheels. I was going to put a later model XR6 motor in there, and give it some real grunt!

Hey boom,
yes there is :(
left hand floor pan needs replacing, drivers side probably needs doing as well the boot channel rusted out so i've taken the rust out and replaced with fiber glass as that will stop any futher rust in that area.

look, i'll be honest, this car has too much rust and faults for me to buy it now. i was really gonna buy it before and offer him 1000 but it looks like I'll get my other toy on the road and then i'll think about it. But i think i'll stick with the holdens
