I have a set of HZ stub axles and calipers. Apparently these can be used as a set of drop axles to lower the front of my f.o.r.d (sorry) by 2 inches.
Does anyone know what the kingpin angle (or SAI - steering axis inclination) is on a HZ ? This figure might be in a good workshop manual or wheel alignment book. Is the HZ same or different to HQ-HX Holden ?
I have tried to measure the angle off the stub axle myself but it is hard to measure accurately. It looks to be about 1 degree different to the ford one, but I would prefer to have a more exact figure. I can then have the ball joint taper in the HZ stub axle machined to give the exact same kingpin angle as the standard ford stub so all the angles in the front end are correct.
Thanks, Darren.

HK-WB are the same. There are some different part numbers for early 1-tonners, but the later books end up with them the same. Can't help you with angles though.
