What the story with the GTR-X did any actually get sold to the public? I know there is one in the National Motor Museum in Birdwood SA.
Holden gave out sales brochures for a car they never sold?

I have a sales brochure for the GTR-X and its in 'like new' condition, is it as rare a rocking horse ****? . . . dont know.

one is privatley owned, I believe 3 were built or part built it is likley the one in birdwood is the only one left.
It would be great to see a kit car made for sale.
The brochures are around and appear on ebay from time to time selling for around $100 p

Strange they made sales brochures for a car they didnt make.
$100 is that all :-(

Yeah the GTR-X at Birdwood turns a few heads.

I've got a couple of mint Leyland Force7 (P76 coupe) Owner's manuals. It was never built either.

I had a Torana book for the XU-1. it showed a pic of a GTR-X shell in a junk yard. i read an artical said there was 4. the shell was 1. 1 was sold, 1 holden kept and 1 was smashed up. i was in Adelaide about 6 months ago on holidays and went to the Birdwo

The reason they have so many "sales brochures is the car did the motor show circuit, just like the Torana and Efijay, look at all the posters they made of them and they had no intention at all to make them, the GTR-X was to be made, according to GM-H sour

Byron the force 7 was built before leyland shut shop and around half a dozen are in private hands

Yes i know, but none were sold. The ones that survived were auctioned off i believe with the rest of the company assets.

There used to be an orange Force 7 getting around Rosedale in Vic 12 years ago, so they were definitely built and sold.
