Hi all I am new to this forum and hope that there are some stock XYGT experts out there! I have a car for which I have found and installed the correct Autolite 4300 carby for originality. I am trying to find out how to correctly connect the carby autochoke and to run all the correct vacuum lines. So far I have not found anyone that can tell me enough about these connections. I have purchased the repro autochoke fitting kit to use. I will ask my autochoke question first. My problem is that the intake manifold has a D shaped fitting with two holes in it located directly under the autochoke of the carby. One of this fitting's holes takes a tube with a threaded fitting on the other end that screws onto the carby autochoke - what happens with the other hole in the intake manifold fitting? What goes into the hole and where is it run to? Thanks for any help AND/OR PHOTOS on this subject!

Have you been to the Aussie GT club site forum? I'm sure the answers would be quick in coming there. www.falcongtclub.org

Thanks Paul, I didn't realise there was a discussion section with the GT clubs website. I will try it it.
