hi, just picked up a set of 5 gts rims - needs to be cleaned up and painted again. was wondering if anyone new the paint colours or codes. obviously they are grey and black - but is there a certain colour grey/black.

350 grey and 350 silver in HQ to 73 then wheel silver metallic and charcoal after that.

When you say HQ 73. Do you mean the year 1973 ONLY, or the full 1973 to late 1974 production run ??
I have a June 74 model !! Grey or black ?

From 73 on to HZ have charcoal and wheel silver. They are also Australian rims not Canadian

Gday. Can anyone suggest where i can get these paints from? It seems that all the paint shops i've talked too (in western suburbs of sydney) can't help without a sample to colour match and the old GM (dulux?) paint codes are no longer listed on their syst

I have had similar issues with paint. The silver is pretty easy, as would the grey. But the charcoal which is black with flatener according to my paint guy just flakes off with the correct mix, an dit is a Gemini colour in his paint book. Argh !!

The codes as I know them:
The paint colours and codes for GTS wheels are:
Wheel Silver Metallic - 17216
and
Charcoal - 17473.
Both original GMH colours.
